5. San Pedro de Atacama

Day 1 Santiago / San Pedro de Atacama
Airport transfer to board the flight to Calama, in
the Atacama Desert. Arrival and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, a
village in the heart of the driest desert in the world. Lodging in hotel.
In the afternoon tour to Valle de la Luna (Valley of the Moon), to admire
from the top of a hill the beautiful sunset in the heart of the desert: an
amazing scenery. Return to San Pedro, dinner and lodging
Day 2 El Tatio geysers
Tour to El Tatio geysers. We leave from the hotel at
04.30 am to arrive to the geysers at 07.00 am, where we have a picnic style
breakfast. At 10.00 am. we return to San Pedro, where we arrive at lunchtime.
Afternoon off to visit the Archaeological Museum. Dinner and lodging.
Day 3 Salar de Atacama
Breakfast. Full day tour to Salar de Atacama. We visit the
villages of Toconao, Camar and Socaire to arrive at the Miscan and Meñiques
Lagoon at 4.150 meters above sea level (12.462ft). After a box lunch, we
continue our tour of the Salar visiting the Talar and Tuyagito Lagoons. Return
to San Pedro. Dinner and lodging.
Day 4 San Pedro de Atacama / Santiago
Breakfast. Transfer to Calama airport.
