Day 1 Punta Arenas (arrival no later
than 15:00 hours)
Departure from the Hotel in Punta Arenas at
16:00 hrs or from the airport at 16:30 hrs. Transfer to Puerto Natales
city, visiting Seno Otway Penguin Colony on the way. Lodging.
Day 2 Torres del Paine
Early morning transfer to the Torres del Paine
National Park, visiting Milodon Cave on the way. Lunch at Hosteria.
A brief walk along the Gray Lake area to see the ice floes. Return
in the afternoon. Lodging.
Day 3 Serrano and Balmaceda Glacier
Early morning transfer to pier to embark on
a day trip to Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers. Brief walk to the
base of the Serrano Glacier. Lunch at Estancia “Perales”. Return
in the afternoon. Lodging.
Day 4 Pta. Arenas / Balmaceda - Tranquilo
Transfer to Pta. Arenas airport in order to
fly to Puerto Montt and Balmaceda (XI) Region arrival in Balmaceda
in full Chilean Patagonia followed by transfer to Puerto Tranquilo,
crossing the Southern Austral Highway, passing by the Cerro Castillo
National Reserve, you will be able to observe the beautiful Lake
Chiguay; And the Piedra El Conde, cuesta Del Diablo (slope Of The
Devil), Cerro Castillo (Castle Hill), one of the biggest mountains
in Chile, a stop in Villa Cerro Castillo with lunch service or afternoon
snack (depending on the arrival time of your flight). In Puerto
Tranquilo dinner and lodging.
Day 5 Tranquilo / Capilla de Marmol
/ Bahia Exploradores
You will have breakfast and begin with a tour
to The Capilla de Mármol (The Marble Chapel), return and enjoy lunch
in Pto. Tranquilo. After Lunch we will travel to the Valley of Bahía
Exploradores, where we will be able to view condors, the beautiful
Calm Lake, various waterfalls; impressive glaciers near the road,
and native forests. The Bridge then crosses Puente León, over the
river with which it shares a name, where pieces of glacial ice can
be observed passing by. (This route possesses suitable places for
sport fishing). Return to Puerto Tranquilo, dinner and lodging.
Day 6 Tranquilo / Coyhaique
Breakfast and return directly to Coyhaique stopping
in Villa Cerro Castillo, for lunch. Arrival in Coyhaique and lodging
( 180 klm).
Day 7 Coyhaique / Balmaceda
Breakfast and transfer to the Balmaceda airport
in the middle of the steppe pampas and proceed to return to your
respective destinations hoping you enjoyed your visit to Patagonia.
