Day 1 BALMACEDA / COYHAIQUE
Arrival in Balmaceda located in the heart of
the Chilean Patagonia. Transfer to the Hotel in Coyhaique. On the
road, you will be able to observe the falls of the POLLUK River,
the Chinese wall, the Foitzic lagoon and the McKay hill Dinner and
lodging.
Day 2 SAN RAFAEL LAGOON
Early departure from the Chacabuco Port. An
adventure tour begins towards the millennial San Rafael Glacier.
During the trip, the Andes Mountains, Virgin falls, Bride veil falls,
Farellon tunnel, Simpson River, Las Pizarras, the English Queque
and the President Ibanez's hanging bridge in Puerto AYSEN can be
appreciated. Once in Chacabuco port, board Catamaran. Navigate for
four and a half hours among fjords and Patagonian canals before
arriving at the millennial San Rafael glacier and its 20.000 year
old snowdrift. Lunch will be served on the boat with a view of the
glacier where you will be invited to share a glass of Whiskey with
ice taken from the glacier. After lunch the Iceberg will be able
to be observed from different angles and if the conditions allow,
you may be able to see a detachment of glacial ice that can reach
70 mts. of height. In the evening return to the Chacabuco Port.
Transfer from CHACABUCO to the hotel in COYHAIQUE.
Day 3 COYHAIQUE / BALMACEDA
Breakfast and tour to the regional brewery to
observe the brewing process and taste the different craft brews
offered, lunch in a Restaurant with featuring regional cuisine,
followed by transfer to the BALMACEDA airport in the middle of the
steppe pampas and proceed to return to your respective destinations,
hoping you enjoyed your visit to Patagonia.
Extension of this program to South or North
of the Austral Road can be requested in connection with 14 others
tours program by Hotelsa.
